CONSERVATIVE Party Leader David Cameron is inviting residents in Middlesbrough to quiz him face to face at a Cameron Direct event on Teesside.

Mr. Cameron will be coming to Middlesbrough, to listen to people's views and answer their questions, at 5.30pm on Friday 19th March 2010.

This is a chance for members of the public, to find out what a Conservative Government will mean for them and their families - whether on the economy, crime, health, transport, education, the agenda for the evening will be set by them.

Paul Bristow, Conservative Candidate for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland said: "I am thrilled that David Cameron is coming to Teesside.  This is an opportunity for local people, of any political persuasion, to put their questions and concerns to David.

"On Teesside, the economy and jobs are the big issues with the mothballing of the Corus blast furnace and other jobs lost in manufacturing.  Households are under huge amounts of pressure and businesses are still struggling. I encourage anyone with concerns and issues they wish to discuss, to come along to this event and whatever the question, it will be answered."

The event is a unique opportunity to ask the leader of the Conservative Party face to face about his views - personal and political - on the issues that face Middlesbrough and indeed the country. This is a chance for everyone to have their say.
