Up The Garden Bath

What a ‘can do’ City #Peterborough is. The Up The Garden Bath team is a great example. They are reusing old bathtubs for flower, vegetable and herb gardens.

Community clean up

Credit where credit is due. After my walkabout with local residents and police Cross Keys Homes and Peterborough City Council have started to clear up this part of Cobden Street #Peterborough cutting back overgrown hedges and tidying communal areas - let’s keep this excellent work up!

Iceland drug den

I have written to the Chief Executive of Iceland Foods about this abandoned car which being used as drug den. It is in the Lincoln Road branch car park - Iceland Foods

Ravensthorpe Primary School

So much fun meeting Rocky the Raven, teachers and children at Ravensthorpe Primary School this morning.

Another fabulous Peterborough school doing so much for children during lockdown and for those now back where they belong - in the classroom!  Such well behaved children!

Wonderful underpass mural

Reading the Peterborough Telegraph this morning, really enjoyed the article about local artists including Nathan Murdoch and this great mural at the underpass on Taverners Road.

Returning to school

This is why I am keen to see schools return in #Peterborough in a safe, managed way. It’s the most disadvantaged children who suffer. I understand some parents and teachers are concerned.

Helping feed Peterborough

Big thanks to Carol and Giles from the Open Door Baptist Church, Harris Street, #Peterborough who run the Millfield Community Fridge.
