The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) are the guys behind the Congestion Charge for Cambridge, a Busway that ploughs through Coton Orchard and many other unpopular schemes designed to make it more difficult to get around #Cambridge and South Cambs.
They are not elected - loathe scrutiny and avoid transparency. It’s time to scrap the hated GCP.
With Government plans for devolution, this election should act as a referendum against any move to renew the GCP deal - against the millions wasted - and to give these powers to an elected Mayor.
On 1 May - a vote for me and for Conservative County Councillors - is a vote to end the war on the motorist and to scrap the GCP.
