Cleaning up after illegal Peterborough party

People coming from outside #Peterborough to attend illegal parties are not welcome. I have written to the council to get this mess cleaned up.

Residents in decent neighbourhoods like Eastgate should not have to put up with this. Disgusting, dangerous and wrong!

The Entertainer

Visited The Entertainer today in #Peterborough. Bradley the manager and his team make an excellent point about toys keeping kids entertained for indoor and outdoor play during COVID-19. Bought a cupcake Lego set and a lights/sounds buggy driver. Got Becky B and Eris a toy too.

My Letter to Pizza Express Boss

The founder of Pizza Express, Peter Boizot MBE, was from Peterborough. He loved this city and is affectionally known by many as Mr Peterborough. I know he would have been horrified by the prospect of the closure of the Peterborough branch.

Mandatory mask day

On the day we are asking people to #WearAMask it was great to join Danny and all the team at Sainsbury’s on Oxney Road in #Peterborough to learn how they are managing the new regulations.

Coronavirus testing

Two mobile testing sites are available in Peterborough from 10am-3pm

Testing will take place at Dogsthorpe Community Centre on Poplar Avenue, from tomorrow until Sunday.

In addition, to the site at Gladstone Park Community Centre will now be in place until the end of the week.

Labour have abandoned the people of Peterborough

Labour REFUSED to back making sure we take back control of our borders and leave the single market and the customs union at the end of the year. They didn’t even turn up to the debate! They still think the people of Peterborough are uneducated and were wrong to back Brexit.

Action on illegal encampments

Residents in Peterborough shouldn’t have to put up with unauthorised encampments on open spaces which often leave behind rubbish and even human waste. I asked the Home Secretary Priti Patel for action and she has promised to deliver in the Autumn

Peterborough loves John Lewis & Partners

I have called on Dame Sharon White, the new chairman of the retailing gaint, to put her confidence in Peterborough and to ensure the store in the Queensgate shopping centre reopens.

Well done... Peterborough is back

This is the moment that Peterborough starts to reopen and move beyond lockdown. From this weekend, it will finally be possible to go to the pub or for a haircut again. It will finally be possible to have a meal out again.
