Eye Housing Survey

Peterborough City Council will soon debate the "Local Plan". This document guides decisions on new housing and development - and where in Peterborough new homes should be built.

We need more homes - especially for young families - but over the years I believe Eye has had more than its fair share.

The village has already grown significantly over the past few years, and many local services have been impacted. Traffic can be a nightmare at certain times, and it is now time to look to other parts of the Peterborough local authority area.

Many residents have contacted me expressing concern. They are worried about overdevelopment. They do not want to see the very nature of our village change any further. Others have expressed concern about pressure on local infrastructure, schools, doctors, utilities etc.

But I want to know what you think.

Please fill out my short survey so that Peterborough City Council hears loud and clear what the people of Eye think. I shall make sure your views are heard.
