A licence to use the £60 million rooftop cinema at the Queensgate Shopping Centre is being sought by Odeon Cinemas.

Elections across our area are always very close and the local elections were no different. 

After all the votes were counted from across the Peterborough constituency (north of the river) - our local Conservative Team won the most votes. 

I will secure the cash for:

👉 A NEW SWIMMING POOL
👉 A NEW BUS STATION

And an aspiration - I will work with POSH.

👉 A NEW STADIUM FOR POSH (and concert venue)

More people yesterday voted Conservative in the Peterborough parliamentary constituency than voted Labour. 

Despite winning a few seats by single figures, this was not a good result for Labour.  If they can’t win the popular vote now - they never will.  Plus a gain from the Lib Dems. 

Well done Paston Ridings Primary on their recent Ofsted inspection which has rated the school as “Good”.

What a waste?  I am sick to death of travelling past this plot of land and seeing it used for street drinking, flytipping and other forms of anti-social behaviour.  I worry about people walking back home from Town or the station.

Popped into the Falcon Hotel in Whittlesey and met with - Dogsthorpe man - Colin Wilson - and Anna and Rachel. 

They are behind the Helping Whittlesey Community Pantry - they save so much food that would otherwise just go to landfill.  

I have met with stallholders and they are pleading for a constructive relationship with the Council - where they can discuss service charges and rent.

I do not understand why the Council won’t engage constructively. I have appealed to them to do this. 

Great to meet trainee bus drivers, engineer apprentices, and the team at Stagecoach this afternoon.

The skill that goes into being a driver is immense!  Great also to see local apprentices excelling - proud of the lads.

After Peterborough United contacted me I made the case for a strong regulator to ensure money flows fairly through the leagues to support clubs like POSH (should also help Peterborough Sports FC).
