Yesterday I tried to do the right thing - for me, my constituents, and for innocent people in Gaza and Israel. I wanted to vote for a ceasefire.But to protect wobbly Labour MPs - the SNP ceasefire motion was binned. I am beyond angry. Labour have let us all down.

Thank you to Raimonda Gecaite a Project Manager at Compas Charity.  She helps run breakfast clubs every week and provides services to all sorts of communities in Peterborough.

The Council PR machine have told us that they are talking with M&S about a presence in the City Centre - but during my talks with M&S last Friday, I was told no such conversations had taken place?  

What is going on? 

What better way to show your support for Peterborough Athletic Football Club than facing a few penalties from U14s? 

What a great little club - keeping children away from the Xbox and building their confidence.

I shall do everything I can to support them.

We have had confirmation from the City Council they do not intend to sell off the centre - despite it previously being earmarked for disposal.

The Chief Executive emails me:

“we are not recommending a disposal of this asset to the market at this time.” 

Yesterday the City Council made the decision, NOT to make a decision…

They could have ruled it out but made the political choice not to do this.  But they did say their preference is now not to sell!  Progress.
