Nowhere in tne country do we have a better example of an nannying and overburdensome state than #Peterborough City Council.
I spoke in the Budget Debate today - a Council that:
👉 Prioritises axing lollipop ladies over backroom savings
👉 Overnight closes three bridges at Cuckoo’s Hollow on spurious health and safety grounds
👉 Wants to fence off Werrington Fields rather than listen to local people
👉 Will accept uncritically the case to close the Regional Pool devastating local people.
Don’t let them get away with it!
