🌟 HAPPY NEW YEAR PETERBOROUGH 🌟Â
In 2023👇Â
👉 Peterborough was awarded £48 million to develop a brand new Station QuarterÂ
👉 A new Green Technology Centre is being built at Peterborough College that will help young people develop the skills of tomorrowÂ
👉 Our University goes from strength to strength with Stage  3 under construction and it is even winning awardsÂ
👉 Our campaign on the Great Northern Hotel was successful- it will no longer be used to accommodate young male migrants crossing the Channel on small boatsÂ
👉 I welcomed three new Conservative Councillor colleagues as in my Peterborough constituency we made 3 gains. Â
In 2024 I hope we can:
👉 Start to develop a brand new NHS Community Diagnostic Centre.Â
👉 Obtain Government support and cash for a high-growth energy cluster at Peterborough University.
👉 See more of the £23 million Towns Fund money we secured for City Centre regeneration spent on local projects and the new Pedestrian Bridge. Â
👉 I hope the Council think again and join my campaign against the Labour Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s plans for road charging in Peterborough
👉 The Council needs to vigilant on City Centre anti-social behaviour and flytipping.  It seems the new lot and their Labour backers have taken their eye of the ball on this.

2023 has not always been easy and many people in Peterborough did receive cost of living payments. Â It is also heartbreaking to see war continue in Ukraine and death and destruction in Gaza. Â
But I remain positive for 2024. Â Peterborough is turning a corner and we have secured hundreds of millions for our City. Â
The best thing about our City is the people of Peterborough and how pull together.  We shall do this again in 2024 💙
