There we are - straight from the PM’s mouth. This is a matter for the local Council and the Government would be happy with the compromise (only a small part of the fields fenced for regular use).
The Council have now put on hold the application - but they should make it absolutely clear right now they will not go ahead EVER (not just in the weeks before Council elections) with their plans to fence off most of the fields.
