💙 Last year I fasted for a week during the Holy Month of Ramadan to understand more about what so many of my constituents undertake. But I ended up learning a lot about myself as well. 💪
This year I want raise money for super charities who do so much for Peterborough. ❤️
👍 UNITE 4 HUMANITY is a great #Peterborough charity raising money for projects locally and abroad. They have helped those struggling during COVID-19 with support package and food. They have stepped up here people have needed them. They have shown us what a special City Peterborough is.

👏 Peterborough is home to an estimated 20,000 Muslims. Ramadan is a big month in my City. Charity is a key element of Ramadan, as is understanding that, sadly, some people across the world regularly combat hunger and thirst.
For a week from dawn until dusk, I won’t eat or drink, and shall try to think positively about other people. 😊
