🤝 Arranged a meeting with the Keepmoat developers, local resident Radoslaw Juszczynski (who is campaigning for better play facilities for older children), and local councillors Bryan Tyler 💙
Some points to come from the meeting:
👉 As the site expands with construction of the schools, a site for sport and play facilities is being prepared - we shall organise a meeting with Peterborough City Council to make sure plans here are developed ASAP and involve local residents.
👉 We shall meet with the Chutch Commisioners (landowner) and the developers to discuss possibilities for another site for free play.
👉 We shall try and establish a regular forum for residents, the developer, all local councillors, and myself to discuss issues on the estate.
👉 There is no doubt that anti-social behaviour on the estate is increasing - such as kids on quad bikes, flytipping and theft. Causes, reasons and solutions (including the travellers site) were discussed.
👂 Reading posts on local Facebook groups has been very helpful - but I also want to hear directly from local residents on their experiences of anti social behaviour in the estate and in the City generally ✍️
