Peterborough theatres need support

 I wrote to the Secretary of State on how important our theatres are. 

We are lucky to have New Theatre Peterborough The Key Theatre and The Cresset in our City. They can survive and thrive and once lockdown is over we all need to be visiting them.

Speeding on Paston Lane and Thorpe Park Road

I met with residents on Paston Lane and Thorpe Park Road - two roads in different parts of #Peterborough but both with the same problem.  Cars use these long stretches of straight road as a race track. 

Reopening the Lido

LETS GET PETERBOROUGH SWIMMING - LETS GET THE LIDO OPEN 

ONLY WHEN THE RULES CHANGE - and we are told it’s safe to reopen outdoor swimming pools - we need to get the Lido open! 

Cleaning up Peterborough

It’s easy to talk to the talk on flytipping but after receiving reports of flytips in Millfield and in Park Ward in particular, former City Mayor John Peach and I rolled up our sleeves and got stuck in!

Anti social behaviour in Paston

The 200 person street parties in Sheepwalk, Paston Peterborough, were not just unacceptable, but scary. The police have promised action and consequences for the party host. Zero tolerance, more police, and reassurance for residents. We will #LevelUp for neighbourhoods like Paston.
